Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomer Will Poulter has taken home the gold at Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 tractor. Disney dropped the first footage from the third installment of the James Gunn trilogy at CCXP in Brazil, revealing a golden-skinned Adam Warlock (Poulter), aka Adam Magus. The cosmic character was teased during a post-credits scene ending in 2017 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where Sovereign’s Golden High Priestess Aisha (Elizabeth Debicki) created the character she named Adam. So said the Golden Girl: “The next step in our evolution – stronger, more beautiful and more capable of destroying the Guardians of the Galaxy.”
The footage shows Adam as an enemy of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the cosmic crew now made up of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Kraglin (Sean Gunn), Groot (Finn Diesel), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and talking space dog Cosmo (Maria Bakalova).
